Commission Details

Payment Options

I accept Paypal or personal checks only.  For personal checks I will not begin working on a commission until the necessary funds have cleared. At least a 30% deposit (required on the larger canvases only) allows me to begin preliminary sketches and draft up color schemes, which will be forwarded electronically to you for approval.  Balance due plus shipping and handling fees (where applicable) must be received (and cleared) prior to shipment.

Shipping and Handling

I prefer to use Priority Mail, fully insured.  If the value of your shipment is greater than $200, the US mail requires a signature upon delivery.  This is not optional.   I insist on professional packaging and insurance, to insure that your item arrives in the same condition it left the studio.    Because the size of each painting varies, the destination, shipping and packaging fees will also vary.  These fees can be discussed in greater detail once the size of your painting has been determined.   In certain instances I will ship in a special packing box designed specifically to protect fragile/delicate surfaces.  When this occurs, you may opt to purchase the packing box outright (which may also be used for storing or transporting the piece), or you may choose to supply a deposit, which I will refund promptly upon the box's return.
